well, this stinks....

Let's just say that today has been hard.  Gotta be truthful and say that not everyone is thrilled with our decision.....it's fine.  It will be fine but it is painful and it breaks my heart.....

A special friend said this to me in reference to some special folks in her life not being thrilled with their adoption either - There will be a day when I look at my Creator to discuss what I did with my life.....I would hate to say, 'Oh yeah, about that adoption thing.....it made this person mad....so I just couldn't do it.'  (I have to keep reminding myself that over and over again today....)  Boy I wish that was easier.

Anyway............

On another note I come home to see this.........SERIOUSLY!!!!  Thank goodness this is all in His hands and His timing cause if it wasn't I just might move myself under a rock today.

  1. Do not worry with otter people's judgment because in the end it does not matter what they think. Stay strong and keep your head up. The devil always tries to get a hold of God's work. I love you.

  2. You know exactly how I feel about this. You know that I KNOW what you are going through. You also know you are being obedient to God's calling...you can't go wrong. You just can't. Everyone else will just need to catch up. Love you to bits and here for whatever you need.

  3. I believe it's Gods Will not our own is what the Bible says. Although it seems harder accepting what the people we love think... God also tells us we are going to need to pick up our cross daily and that we cannot truly do his will or work unless we burn our plows.......we love you all and are praying for your family daily.......hang tight....after all she's already your daughter, she is just waiting for you to pick her up!

  4. Hey Frannie!!! Wow, do I know what you are talking about. It took many people around my family and Matthew's a long time to accept this...some never have but we are ok with that. The joy that Micah has given and the peace we have experienced by being obedient to what the Lord lead us to do, is well worth it!!! We love you guys and are praying for you continually!
